Neuromuscular Research Group (NMRG) is a group of independant private dentist and researchers who have come together to lead the Dental Profession in quantitative analysis of muscle physiology and its relationship to the masticatory system.
Clayton A. Chan, D.D.S., M.I.C.C.M.O is the Founder and CEO of this organization.
The NM Research Group is not sponsored or supported by any particular company or organization, neither has any financial connections that would biase the discoveries, findings and research of this independant group of practitioners.
OVERVIEW
A higher level of proof is required in scientific discussion to resolve hearsay theories and protocols presented within the neuromuscular community of objective data gathering. Scientific methodology and protocols are required and needed to raise the dental professions awareness of muscle physiology and health. This group forum's objective and focus is to gather, discover and evaluate through combined international efforts of clinicians who are willing to gather objective data and analyze particular scans and protocols to establish clear cut baseline data to improve and understanding of the masticatory system and it's relevant neuromuscular structures. These studies objective is to establish improved standards and understanding of present day theories and protocols related to EMG, CMS and ESG data. Open discussion is encouraged to question present theories to better understand and help bring clarity to the next generation of neuromuscular clinicians in order that they can feel confident in the neuromuscular sciences and applied clinical dental procedures they offer to their patients.

"Great opportunity to learn and perfect my skills as well as make other clinicians better along with me - and under the tutulage of the best, Clayton Chan". - Frank Gadino, DMD, Dana Point, CA
"Orthopedic, or Gneuromuscular, dentistry needs quantitatively more relevant published research to continue our journey of acceptance to the point it becomes the reigning paradigm of treatment planning in dentistry worldwide. This opportunity will allow me to participate in making it happen." - Larry Stanleigh DDS, Calgary, AB Canada
